Can anyone shed some light on the Alarm in the T Series is it available as an add on accessory and it so what does it consist of.

I would like to put one in my XR....

There is definitely some upgraded alarm on the T3, when I took the beast for a drive there was alot of extra beeps and whistles from the car when I locked and unlocked it.

Last I heard, they are selling more than Tickford can make.

Probably explain why they are not sitting in dealerships

Last time I checked Brad Garlic, they still had series 2 T series in the show room. Not sure if they have a S3 in or not... its a bit hard to see from the street (behind all the cougars, and huge concrete poles)

The T-Series alarm is not available as yet. However, it doesn't mean that it won't be at all. If it is to become available, should be out around February or March (in my estimation). Also, there could be rules/specificational hurdles about fitting T-Series alarms to non T-Series vehicles. Rules as in FoMoCo might make the alarm exclusive to only T-Series and spec hurdles such as different wiring and electronic components.

This is correct! Tickford have been overwhelmed by orders.
Most of the cars that have run out of the factory have been straight to end customers, not to dealers to sit in showrooms (which is certainly encouraging)!

It is good.

On the way home i saw two T series [in the space of 2 minutes] it was a shock cause i hadnt seen one before in the flesh.

me: "DAMN, THATS A T SERIES"

me [again]: "DAMN THATS ANOTHER ONE!"
