I have a friend that just got a Ford F-250 and the radio doesn't work. Can someone please just tell me how to fix it? I've been searching for hours and I can't believe a solution to such a common problem is so hard to find without paying $20 for instructions.

So can anyone just tell me for FREE how to do a permanent fix or a site that cares more about helping people rather than extorting everyone?

what model of F250 ?
is it the factory radio?

if it is the factory radio you should be able to call your ford dealer and tell them the VIN number of the truck and they will be able to look up the security code for you.

guess it depends on the dealership if they will charge you for their time.

It's a 98, that's all I know. I own a Honda Accord, I don't know anything about Fords lol. The radio works fine, but the time can't be seen.
