Not much for me. Kenwood z919 MP3 head unit. 5.25" 2-way Blaupunkt fronts and 6" Pioneer 3-way rears. I just wanted to replace the speakers without any cutting or hassle.
Oh, and I have one of those fragrant trees dangling from the coat hanger clip on the roof behind the drivers seat. :s6: :hy:
Kenwood KDC2020 head unit, JBL 6035e rear speakers (6", fit in the existing cutouts perfectly, and sound fantastic), and a leather momo wheel from SVO.
no pictures as yet.. well of the interior, its not done yet anyway. goto www.xchasr.xs3.com i think in one of the pictures on the site, u may be able to see my dash, thats about it though.
If anyone u know has a EF futura dash let me know cause im gonna rub mine back so its all smooth and paint it silver, my mate has done this in his VS wag and it looks shmick.
Well I have an EA, so I don't know if ya wanna hear from me, but EA's - EL's are pretty much on par with stereo capabilities. Everything that's mentioned in my signature, including a leather look sports steering wheel and fibre glass door pods for my splits. I have no boot display yet but that will change over the next 3 weeks
Mainly a lot of colourcoding to offset the gray all over the place. I have painted the dash surround black (goes around instrument cluster then down around gear knob) Also recovered gray material inserts on doors in black. Placed an order with SVO for a black leather XR8 wheel today as well. The black looks really good contrasting the grey.
The usual blue leds in the instrument cluster as well as painting surround silver.
Double din deck and rest of the stereo all upgraded.
Definitely makes the normal Gli interior look a bit more interesting without going overboard so Im happy with it.
I will be playing around with sub positioning to determine the best possible sound, right now I'm thinking of fibreglassing the spare tire well and constructing a box to house my sub. It'll be facing upwards and depending on how large of an enclosure can fit, it might need to invert the sub. If I do this setup, the amps will be positioned next to the sub with a false floor over them to make it all look level. I will be putting perspex over the amps. The sides of the boot will be decked out with MDF, with a small space to house my capacitor on the right side of the boot, also viweable through perspex. It'll all be finished in either white vinyl, or more likely sprayed gloss black.
Hey Walkinshaw, the only reason I've decided to change my setup is based on the SPL figures you got with your setup. You got the same score as me despite that I'm pumping 3 times more power into my sub WITHOUT an LPG tank.
I'm going to be VERY upset if it doesn't sound any better than before!!!!!
Hey XCHASR just hurry the hell up and put a BLOODY TURBO on the thing and be done with it just kiddin bro but im serious about the turbo HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanna run you when i get my car
