apparently theres an auxilary plug somewhere on the premium sound model to plug an mp3 player, does anyone know where it is and what type of conectors they are? is it already there or is it an adapter you need to go and buy from ford and put in?

You may need to buy a AUX Kit from Ford. Mine of cost $30 and take 10 minutes to install myself. The ford kits comes with instructions, but basically there is a connector the plugs in behind your fuse panel and the other end screws onto a plastic lug under the tissue holder.
Also, if you do a search, there's instruction to make your own and save a bit of cash.
