why doesnt my fan blow in the face position it only blows in the feet and windscreen position i have a EA ford 88 model stationwagon any suggestion would be much appreciated

If it is ONLY the windscreen then it may well just be the little pipe in the engine bay has come off - this pipe provided a vacume / preasure to drive the selector vents movements. This happened in my old ED a few times...

I have forgotten its 'real' name for it but when your standing at the front of the car looking into the engine bay , its in the top right quadrant. (from memory) - a small hose no larger thicker than a pen.

Others PLEASE correct me if I remember this incorrectly...

BUT , if its both feet and screen - no idea...

would this be the same for a ZL? its stuck on the windscreen and cant get it off.

it's a vacume hose theres 2 green and black follow them from both ends and put it back on
