heres my problem..... i have a $1000 that i've been given and need to get rid of it.

i have a 5 speed EA Falcon S and want to do some engine mods. anyone suggest some ideas to get the most power from $1000, i was thinking a chip.

plus i live in adelaide, does anyone know a decent mechanic that wont stuff me around.

I'd look into extractors/exhaust if I were you.

Spend the money you have left over on little things.

ok, go for. cam, extractors, exhaust, and a cai set up. that would the the 1000 gone, but the most gains from the engine.

do the chip as a last desparate grab at bolt on power modifications, that way it work with tthe mods you will/am/wish/were to install

i agree with the others, cam, extractors, exhaust and CAI

There is no point putting a chip in if you dont have these mods done anyway. you wont see the real benefit of the chip
