Jim mock has done it NA running a 13.4 I think just last week.
Quote:
The new benchmark set last night by this little rocket of an EB is 13.453!!!!!!
60' time was 1.935 for that run but a best 60' of 18.85 was done (gearbox broke going into 3rd gear on this run) Now, just doing some quick sums a 1.85 60' time would work out somewhere around 13.36 or so for a full run. This car is starting to dip WELL into modified Gen 3 and Boss times now.

Last I heard, Fordmods member Waggin has a 180rwkw heavily modded EB (i think) and was hoping for 200rwkw once an aftermarket engine management was put in.
There's two I6's that do 13's that we've heard of. The 200rwkw barrier N/A isn't something you hear of often.

I Thought there would be more out there running consistent 13"s but 200rwkw isnt impossible as im getting a 174rwkw package done in the new year.
Still going the mock dev 5 ?

Waggin's is an ef (or el, cant remember), and yeah, he is aiming for just over 200 at the treads. Not sure on the engine details (from memory, upper from JMM, bottom and the rest from ITS Peformance), but he will be using a 6 t/b set up and motec from memory.
I think he was getting the motec sorted out by their next dyno day.

I just had an ITS engine put in on the weekend.
It should be good for around the 170kw mark. After it's well and truely run it I'll take it for a run out at WSID and report back. I ran 14.8 with just a wade stg 2 cam so I'm expecting low 14s and hoping for 13.999999 out of this new engine. hehe.
Don't forget the early E series cars are a bit lighter that the EF onwards so if you're going to crack 13s down the quarter you're more likely to do it in an EA-EB
How was Mark (it is Mark at ITS isn't it?) to deal with ?
