1980 200-1brl in a 66 Stang - timing ? ? ?
My Boss has a 66 stang conv auto w/a 1980 200-1brl carb engine. Should the ignition timing be set at 12BDC as noted for the 66 200 or ? ? ? And, should the idle be at 550 in "D" or ? ? ?.
Oh he replaced the single point w/an electronic device that screws into the distributor replacing the points. Vacuum advance unit is a single diaphram.
We're installing new timing gear set and balancer (old one is 30* off and rubber dryrotted) this weekend. So would be nice to know what to set timing and idle at.
