Hi there im new to this so bear with me .I own a 1996 ef fairmont after owning a 1962 xl ,1981 xd ,1990 ea2 and would like some help with my sad ef .My prob is ive changed the plugs and leads the airfilter and fuel filter is okay but the mongrel misses beats at idle and splutters on accelleration then recovers .It does this when hot and cold ,when aircon is on or off .My mechanic which is also a old school buddy told me its possibly a couple of clogged injectors .have these models any hidden problems i should know about .My old ea 2 used to miss but only when hot .This b$%^& misses all the time ."PLEASE HELP ME"!
my EF is doing the same thing, mines dual fuel so i'm led to beleive it is the injections.
i'm gunna be putting some injector cleaner stuff in soon and see how it goes.
i guess its worth a try.

I rang the place we bought our ef from they told us they wouldnt fix it as it was a service part prob (absolute crap)and that stat warranty did not cover it .They just did not want to spend any$$ on it ,so i rang our warranty group ,they look like they may fix the prob so i may fix other things at the same time .Looks like crook injectors .this morning i backed out of our shed with bad manners and collected the door on the shed door (minor scratches)more scratches to my ego but.I found no good getting angry but get even .
