200 xflow head on a 250 xflow?

I'm guessing it can't be done, but is it possible to run a 200 crossflow head on a 250 crossflow?

THe heads are the same... The 200 has flat top pistons the 250 has dished pistons.. no advantage at all

nope same cc.... the pistons are where the differnce is to get the compression in the 200 flat tops are used not smaller shamber heads ....

Re: 200 xflow head on a 250 xflow?

Great work guys, I have a really nice one off a 200 (Alloy). That's why I was wondering. I'll be getting it flowed etc, I'm going to try and build a nice revvy crossflow for the offroader. Any good tips for a guy with a limited budget? I already have the 200 rods, I'll be getting the ACL Pistons, picked up an EFI setup from an XF the other day, I'm told that the XE computer is a better one (simpler) than the XF. I'm thinking roller tipped rockers to avoid probs with the valve cover. I'll keep you posted with pics if I can get the pics to work. I placed a shot of the ute on here........somewhere!!???, I think it's in my profile bit.
Cheers
