I Had A Cortina With A 250 6cyl
I Was Told It Was A 2v Engine
It Had Separate Exhaust Manifold But Inlet Was Cast To The Head
Is This A Std 250 Or Is It A 2v
I Still Have The Head And Extractors
If Anybody Wants Them Let Me Know

If the inlet manifold is cast to the head its not a 2v.

sounds like just a regular 1V 250. sorry to disapoint you.
was it manual? it could have a top loader in it.

it was an auto
it survived long after it hit a tree and again still survived when we hit a rock and wrapped the sump around the crank
finally died when it was hit head on by an xc at around 80km/h all in the same weekend
i'll chuck the head out then

yeah, its not a 2v ive got a xp falcon with a 250 2v, 4 on the floor with a centura diff
