Gday guys. I've got a quick question. Would a 250 2V with a 350 holley , extractors and a 2 1/4 inch exhaust , electronic ignition and running 3.5 gears with an auto box in an XA Fairmont be able to light both wheels up? Only asking cos i went to easternats today and im pumped.

Built proberly, yes, these thing's when built right are quicker than a stock V8.

Depends wether or not you have LSD or a minispool I guess.
It sure sounds like it would have the power to do it.

yeah but once the tires get hot and sticky i cant see it keeping the wheels turning for long not with an auto

It would most probally be LSD because ive heard minispools are dangerous on the streets in the wet.

My mates 250 2v could spin both tyers in his XW with no problems.

He had just a 3.23 geared BW LSD from an XD ute!

Auto with a stage 1 shift kit.

Does anyone no what an XA ran on the quater with a stock 250 2V? I read somewhere that XY's ran 16's with a 2V.
