The word going around is get a big trans cooler, which I still havent fitted 3 months after the turbo conversion and put a shift kit in it. Im using an electronic kit which I built myself for $10. BUt you can get a different S5 solonid to make the shifts firmer. This way is more expensive and more difficult to do at home. Hard shifts generate less heat in the tranmission which is good.
I had my trans fully flushed out the week before I turned to boost to what it is now just to be sure.

You will get that response from any trans place which hasn't worked on the Ford 4 speed, as others have said just go elsewhere.

Any trans place should be able to get them. If you want to fit it yourself, you could get them from ford, just get an AU S5 solenoid they are adjustable.

Thanks EDXR8, I know what my job for tomorrow is now, is it a simple unplug , plugin job or one for an auto electrician.

Its actually an internal part of the transmission, on the valve body. Not really sure how to do it, I would just get a trans place to do it when you have the trans serviced next. The electronic one is far easier to install and cheaper, but the adjustable solenoid gives a better end result IMO.
