Hey all any one know if a 4.0L cam gear will slot in to the 3.9 motors?
I'm ripping the cam out of the ED I have aquired and want to put it in the EB series 1.
I would change the entire motor but my dads car has blown the head gasket so he's just gonna grab the entire ED motor (less the performance cam). I would take the motor but my block is in excellent condition and I'd rather just get another motor and build it up for future use.
So yeah will it fit?

there has been mixed reports, however I believe if you fit the EF cam, reset the ECU you will have no dramas, at the most you may have to fit a dfifferent fuel reg or mod yous, but i doubt it, there not that wild

yeah cool. I realised how stupid the post was as soon as I put it in.
Crow sell cams for EA -AU all the same grind. opps.
Oh well now I know for sure atleast ;-)
