3.9L to 4.0L conversion.
Here it is,
Atm, ea falcon s 5 speed, running a 3.9L mpfi. The next mod I want to do is upgrade to a 4.0 litre motor - smoother, more bullet proof, 10 more kws. $400 from a wrecker.
Ive asked around a few places and nobody has been certain that, 1 I can use my inlet manifold and computer, that 2 my computer will drill as much fuel into the motor as would a 4.0L ecu (for power) and that 3 the crow cam that I invested in will fit into the 4.0L motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Falcon S, MPFI, red, Resprayed with colour coded bumpers, motorvator extractors, walker hi-flow cat, 2 & 1/2 exhaust system, cold air intake using hi-flow K&N pod filter (heat sheilded), stage 3 crow cam with a vernier cam timing gear. Severly ported and polished EB 4.0L head, shimmed valve springs - compression ratio (9.5:1 +). Making 145rwkw!!
