A simple question if both cars were stock what would win???

The 4.0l is only like 45cc more displacement, isn't it? I think power & torque rating were the same on the first 4.0lt engines, as the previous 3.9lt engines anyway..

And we all know manuals go harder :p

Alright, let's bring it on! Who wants to challenge me?!!! (I just want to see how hard a manual 3.9L/4.0L actually goes)
If you were in brisbane, I would race you, but then my diff isnt std and other parts...

would a 3.9 CFI 5spd beat a 4.0L MPFI 4spd auto???

my 3.9CFI auto with 3.45 diff was neck and neck with an ED MPFI auto - till about 50km/h lol 3.9cfi with 5spd on stock diff... vs 4 auto... im not sure....

Another interesting factor is that EB 4.0s were supposed to have 3.27 diffs, compared to 3.08 for the ED. Which means there would be a significant performance difference between the 2.
