Has any one done a 3.9mpi to 4ltr conversion, are there any problems with the wiring loom what needs to be changed. any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks Adam

we dropped an ED 6 into an EB wagon, just dropped it in and plugged in the existing plugs, there was one left over but we just ignored that and left it loose. Seems to work fine.

Don't take my word for it though because I think the engine had already changed from 3.9 to 4.0 and then we changed into a new 4.0 after that, so whether the wiring was changed originally I don't know, but I don't think it was.

it will drop straight in and plug up unless you are using ef onwards 4.0 may have to change couple plugs.unless your still goin to use 3.9 injection will be no problems. done my ea s fitted 96 xr6 engine running 3.9 injection gear no problems at all hope this helps. cheers nigel

MPI, EB-ED = no problems.
CFI = some wiring.

I put EF into EA MPFI, just changed loom on manifold and put dizzy in.
