4.0i Turbo's and the law...

Just a quick check to see if there are any guys with turbo'd inline sixes here in victoria, that are, to an extent, legally registered. I'm not talking ridiculous setups here, something around 200rwkw.. The easy way to go about it would be to go straight gas but is there any one here thats done it with petrol and got ADR compliance on the emissions? and if so how'd you go around it? workshops that did work, ECU used, etc.

The other thing you need to be asking about is an engineers certificate because of the major power increase - 200rwkw is not far off double the stock output after all.

yeah but isn't the engineering side of it the (relatively) easy part... it's the emissions regs that i see as the major sticking point.. my understanding is that's hard to even get compliance with a standalone aftermarket ECU?
