thanks guys. I think i'll stick with the 3.9 cause its cheaper to buy from the wreckers (well here anyway!) and just strip it and rebuild, replacing rings and all that.
I was looking at just doing cam, xorst, ports, mayby bore out 20 thou or so, intake and maybe oneday blow it.
