Advancing the cam

Has anyone done it, is it worth the power. and how far can i go ive got a dynotec cam 260 dur' 395 lift will i brake it

The cam will make its best usable power if it's dialed in, instead of it being advanced. You should have been given specs when you bought the cam. Setting it up to those specs will be your best bet. Also there is a chance of hitting valves if you advance or retard the cam too much, so be careful and double check eveything before turning the key!
