The engines got 150,000kms on the clock and a compression test showed the engines still reasonably healthy so
heres the plan and the parts:
-MPFI Conversion
-MPFI Manifold,Fuel Rail, Injectors,TPS, ISC and air temp sensors
-Pre-Smartlock EB Manual ECU
-EB MPFI Manifold Loom
-MPFI A/C Compressor Bracket
-EF/EL xr6 head with mild port/polish
-Wade Cam 1004>112 or 110 + Vernier Gear
-Extractors
-2.5 in Exhaust
-Pod Filter
-EF/EL Thermos
-5 speed manual conversion
-Fit 3.7 or 3.9s to EB GT diff allready installed on car
QUESTIONS
1. Do i require any other parts for the MPFI conversion
2. Unsure whether to go for the Wade 110 or 112,Id like the lumpiest cam possible without making it too hard to drive in city traffic?
3.Unsure whether to go the 3.7s or the 3.9s. With 17" rims will the 3.9s make first gear to short and revs at 100km/h too high?
