Air intake

My mate is putting a full exhaust system on a EL xr6 (extractors 'n all). On the intake side of things he is thinking of putting on a TS50 intake, coz its cheaper than going to SS or something like that.

Question is.....will the Tickford part mate straight into the EL engine?? Or do we need a reducer?? Does anyone know the diameter of the pipe that meets the pipe from the manifold?

Re: Air intake

Hmmm...i'm not sure what you mean, but i got a tickford (XR8 i reckon) air intake in my EF and it didn't take much to get it there. The pipe is a whole lot bigger but the connection was the same...i'm not so sure about the TS50 intake but if that don't fit try the sucks...big time!!!

Re: Air intake

TS50 and XR8 are the same. And yes, it fits with just 2 screws.
