just wondering if anyone has used a head stud kit on a 4l, or do they know if one is availiable??

what do you mean by head stud kit,,the special tool for removing them or just replacing them with new head bolts

HEAD studs are ..... Studs that wind into the block. and then u have nuts that go on to these studs... MOstsly used on ya chev and ford v8's

I'd like to know this too. Main stud kits would also be great.

I've searched the ARP catalogue and there's not many listings for metric studs. I'm hoping something for a japanese vehicle can be used, but I'm not hopeful.

Surely someone must be able to roll threads on a few studs. Perhaps a group buy is necessary and someone could approach a fastener manufacturer to make them. Hey, why not ARP. I might even contact them myself.

I wonder how many we'd need?
