What will people pay for:
AU Head
AU Rods (set)
AU pistons (set)
AU crank
AU cam
AU intake manifold
(Prety much anything on an AU I6 Engine..excepting the block..which is porous and will become a coffee table.)

Wrecking yards around here will give you a low k's (aren't they all) AU engine, computer and loom for $950. That would make a good starting point for many of these parts.

The engine appears to be brand new. Came from Dominelli Ford, Sutherland. Reportedly, they "don't stuff around". Something was found to be wrong with the engine so they replaced it straight away. I have seen it- absolutely shiny, brand new looking, no oil marks whatsoever, no rust on steel parts, etc.

Not saying all AUs are low k's, my point was that every part you can find in a wrecking yard apparently came from a car that just ticked over 100,000.
