Let's say a person i know, who "had" a BA xr6t minus the insurance meets a tree, sideways at 40km/h
lets say he was willing to sell his engine, trans and ECU for a very affordable price. would it be economically possible, price wise to put the BA XR6t engine in an AU

what kind of work would i be looking at? major electric and internal modifications?

I'm just trying to explore something that could be benificial.

I'd like to think the legalities in transferring a turbo engine to a vehicle originally manufactured without one to be the biggest issue that you'll face as well.

I'm actually with casper on this one. The VCT is a damn powerful engine. with a few minor modifications the VCT is very capable of achieving power figures well over 200fwkw. Only other thing the VCT requires to rip into life is a piggyback ECU. I think you'd be suprised MustangNicko of what it can do once the ecu problem is delt with.
