Hey all,

Anyone have any info on the 2000ish model 2.0 DOHC australian model capri? My father in law has one, and I had a look over it the other day, and was pretty appalled by the inlet setup, especially the airbox, where the inlet air has to go around a sharp 90 degree path into a terrible vane airflow sensor.

Anyone here have any ideas on replacing this setup? It's sure to be restrictive...

Also found a set of extractors to suit from Coby in New Zealand... any advice?

I though the capri finished prior to 2000, and it was a 1600 motor??

Yeah, no idea really, its a series 2 or three, but it is reasonably modern. Capri's aren't my thing, just trying to help the old fella out!

awesome man, thanks, I'll find what I need. Seems the Capri is an early 90's afterall, the technology under the bay should have given this away to me. Car is just in such good nick....
