Hello all

Found a distributor for autolite plugs (some of you already know of this, but didnt think the place was still there. After emailing them, i can tell you they do exist) the place is called Noel's Auto Parts. can be found at www.noelsautoparts.com.au

Anyhow, i asked about some autolite plugs to suit my EL. I have read on FF that JMM use the 985's, however when I emailed them about this part number they told me these were a 'very long plug for my engine' and he DID NOT recommend me them for the EL. He recommended part no. 64, or AP64 for single platinum

So there you go. I wont put prices up but they would have done me a set and posted to Sydney for around 25 bucks :)

Too bad i just installed NGK R's

Anyone in Melbourne can source them straight from Jim Mock Motorsport in Altona. Prices are pretty good too.

Ok Ok whats so special about these plugs?
I currently use iridiums & have found them to be very good. By the seat of the pantsometer

they are supposed to be more resistant to pinging...my car seems to be, i run shedloads (about 20 degrees base i think) of timing on my car with BP ultimate, and its fine.

havent tried any other pulgs to compare with though.

I was going to say they are a more compression resistant plug.
