ok does anyone know if its possible to just get a complete xr6t motor and manuel gearbox to bolt strait into an ea , with everything all accessories harness computer the lot and just get a stong lsd chucked in behind all that
what would it be worth for all the parts?
just curious if it can be done

i seriously doubt very much that it would be as simple as just put it all in and hook it all up. couldnt tell you the specifics but i suggest unless you got at least $10k i wouldnt even bother thinking about it.

Depends if you DIY mate.
I imagine you'd have an issue with bonnet clearance, you might have to put a bulge in it.
Engine mounts might be different?
Everything else shouldn't be too hard, possibly the tailshaft will be the wrong length if you use the BA shaft/diff, also I believe they're an IRS standard so you'd need an engineer's on the welding on that.
The EA shaft should take the power and can always be strengthened, if the front yoke doesn't fit the box I believe the uni. joints are still the same size between BA and EL? Probably want an EL diff back there anyway for the ABS.
This is a project I wouldn't mind doing to mine, but have no money so I've just used an AU motor (well until it blew up, now I'm back to a 3.9 for now lol)
Wiring will be a little tricky but probably not more than a couple nights in front of the telly
If you go ahead with this keep us posted hey!

why even bother? I dont understand why you would do it in the first place. it would be cheaper to just turbo your current engine and you would end up with similar performance.
well are the engine mounting point different or just the mounts themselfs, could you use the ea mounts and bolt them onto the ba motor and just use the ea manuel gearbox

Yeah, it would awesome to see just a normal twincam six between the rails of a e-series falc (hopefully an EA to take advantage of power-to-weight)... It so has to happen... just think about all the other random engines people have put into cars over the years, I reckon this one has to be a dead cert.
I agree with Casper, it's a big waste of money. The only advantage over a rebuilt 3.9/4.0 with an aftermarket turbo is the "I've got a BA engine" wank factor. And you'll pay for it.
However, I was surprised that there actually are BA XR6Ts at auctions. People are wasting no time in writing them off, but for as long as every man and his dog dreams of using the engine, they will cost a ridiculous amount even as an auctioned wreck.
