After looking at my own intake, and photos of a couple of XR6T's, I'm thinking that the Turbo's intake snorkel looks bigger (much wider in both mouth and tube cross section) than the N/A version.
Can anyone with dealer type access confirm this for me by getting the part numbers for both parts if possible - obviously, if there are two part numbers then they are different, but if there's only one they must be the same and I'm seeing things...
I'm hoping it's another easy Tickford Snorkel type modification for the N/A motor if I'm correct in my read of the photos.
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Jason

Thanks very much to BSR senile legend RUSS (FPV cheer-leader supreme), I can tell you that the BA XR6T does have a larger air intake snorkel that the N/A model.
Picked one up from Cumberland Ford Blacktown today for just under $29 retail including GST.
Part number (courtesy of above mentioned senile legend dude) for the turbo intake is BA 9A624 A
Hopefully this will be the same sort of cheap & easy gain that the Tickford snorkel provided for older cars...
Will post some photos in the next couple of days when I swap the part over.
Cheers
Jason

I'll post some comparative shots of the sizes old versus new when I get the old one out.
Cheers

I had to trim the bottom left corner of the Turbo intake to make it fit better. Don't know why this is...

Another angle, perhaps giving you a better idea of the overall size difference in the opening.
