ok , the deal is I want to get the best possible update to my old CFI. eg : ED XR6 engine , EF air box... EL dizzy... and so on .. etc ... or ELXR6 enigne ...you should get the picture by now , as far as a budget goes i was working on trying not to go much over 2k or so , i know this could be stretch with labour included, but any help guides to threads , or costing , ideas , or ways to cut costs and so forth would be greatly appreciated ... and could the 3 speed auto handle these upagrades , cos manual conversion would be a while away ... thankx guys

i have rung a few wrecker round here and its hard to get ef,el or an au engine.standard xr6 ect even harder.
It sucks!! i asked em some question and none of em could give me a straight answer.One says cfi to an efi motor is gonna be hard(lots of wiring ect) others said it easy.one said el is easiest?? another said ef easiest??
bah alot of help they've been.They try floggin off ea cfi's,mpfi's to me(must be all they have lying around)
and all of em needed rebuilds, so they must be pile of crap.

3 speed auto's are tough...im sure they'd handle the engine upgrade...
