Is there any bigger intake pipe for ea's that replaces the standard stuff ? is metel better or plastic ? cheers

mate just stick to the standard ea 1990 item,

NOTE THE EB AND ED HAVE A VENTURI INSIDE THEM FOR QUIETER INDUCTION. so eb-ed owners should head out and get a 1990 ea mpfi item

*note*- i dont no about earlier 88-89 ea mpfi inlet tracs but i know the 90 ea has a 3inch inlet pipe and is smooth inside

personly i reckon the standard rubber 1 is the best material to use as metal heats up and then retains to much heat in the engine bay-example-touch ur rocker cover after a drive then touch the intake pipe.

also it would be worth wile to add a cold air and pod set up to ur car while ur mucking round with ur induction
