Re: Burnouts

Getting a shorter diff ratio will help or even some low profile tyres. My NC had no problems getting both to spin when stock, but when I got LPG you had to try a little harder to get them going. When I put the Wade stage 2 cam in it could no longer break traction from a standing start, but in the wet if you floored it it would get to about 3000RPM and then let go. Now with the 4.11 diff it can do standstills again.

Re: Burnouts

lsd in late(e series on) are set up pretty soft hence one wheel burnies
if you keep doing one wheelers it will blow up soon anyway
when it does get an XR6 diff with 3.45 ratio
if you still cant do a burnie your car is gutless HA HA(get a plastic brake clamp from burson and clamp rear line if you don't want to stop)
don't do burnies in built up areas cops and neihbors dont like it
and don't get caught either(not in full control of vehicle my arse did you not notice the figure 8s officer)

Re: Burnouts

Being an LTD, it should have lsd from factory. It might have been swapped at some stage, either that, or the diff is on its way out. If you really want to get the lane to smoke, throw a 5 speed in:) Best thing i ever did to mine.
