The computer will calculate the amount of petrol to give for the amount of air it is bringing it, but this is controlled by the throttle and your foot. the idea of cold air induction is to bring colder air in which is more denser and has more oxygen that hotter air, and to allow better flow of the air coming in this will also allow better combustion of the petrol and give a better burn there fore more power. to really get an effect it would need to be done in part with other mods like extractors, cam, computer etc. but go with walknshaws idea, gets good cold air.

cam starts to work efficently at 2500rpm wheel spin starts at 2500rpm in wet, nothing sus or anything.
