Im currently looking at a mild cam, for my EF 6cyl, after a bit of looking here what i came up with. (without actually talking to the manufactorer yet)
CROW stage 2
Claim 120kws (im assuming it RWKWs)
Costs around $300, i think (?)
Jim Mock Motorsprt
DEV 3 Kit
Claim 135rwkw
Kit cost $2000 (includes extractors, 2.5"zorst, filter, plugs all fitted.)
Chiptorque
HP3 kit
Claim 111rwkw
Cost $975 (chip and cam, fitting not incl)
(Look at Blue line)
Im currently leaning toward Crow stg 2, or maybe seeing if a JMM one can be bought seperatly.
A chip in my car will make it un insurable, so chiptorque is probably out of the quetion
Anyone had any experiences with the cams above, or know any better ones?
Or any of their own dyno graphs, please post them.
And Im assuming these will fit straight in, no head work or anything.
Thanks
Jase

You can buy JMM cams seperatly but imo i would buy the stage2 crow cam. A mate of mine had one put in and was very happy with it had a good increase right across the rev range. No head work needed, same set-up as yours. There has been alot of debate on the actual power outputs of JMM so you might want to stick with crow who have a very good name, or that is just what i would do imo.
there is no real debate on what the mocks dev 3 is making cause numerous people have had theirs dynoed and come up with the same number 130rwkw now thats 10 rwkw more then the crow cam package i know which one i would choose. Well ive already done that cause i got a dev3 and am very happy, revs very freely through to redline but would reccomend if you have an auto gearbox to get a 3.73 diff ratio which would be perfect for it.
im interested in this too, c.o.m.e racing grinds up a nice 4L cam, states:excellent performance grind for EB series ford ohc 6cyl 175kw, range 1700-5400. sounds nice to me.
I've got a Wade cam in mine, it made a pretty good difference and the idle is only slightly lumpier....
cost: $175, or $111 c/o
Dave.

You can get more power than with the Crow cam than 120rwkw, I just was putting my opinion out there as I stated. From my friends experience he was more impressed with the overall increase of the crow cam...wasnt meant to put anyones noise out of joint, imo its all done to personal preference between the Crow and JMM cam.
