yep, it's a simple conversion. use the ea ecu. u have to mate the ef engine harness to the ea plug and fit a rev switch if u want to take advantage of the broadband manifold
Hmmm - I'm not so sure it's that simple a proposition?
You need to make sure the EA dizzy can be changed over to the EF engine (AFAIK there's no way to adapt EDIS to non EDIS ECU?), and also you'll need to have electric fan/s for the radiator - or changeover the alternator pulley, harmonic ballancer, aircon compressor and possibly the whole water pump so the mechanical fan can be fitted. Also the BBM and Knock Sensor won't operate with the EB2 ECU.
The EL went back to Dizzy type ignition so it'd be fairly straight forward to fit the EL engine to an EB2 (altho you'd still need to address the fan issue and the BBM and Knock Sensor situation will be the same as with the EF engine).
