Does anyone have one fitted? I'm looking on thier website and it says there are 3 stages for EF/EL. Stage 1 and 2 are Powerdyne units, and stage 3 is a Vortech. Stage 1 is an estimate 215kw running at 6 psi, stage 2 is an estimate 240kw running at 9 psi and stage 3 just says "Mod engine" running at 9-14psi.
I'm presuming anymore than 10psi or so and you need the engine rebuilt with stronger internals. Anyone know what exactly is done to this "mod engine" in the stage 3? I also wonder how much power stage 3 would be with an extra 5 psi if 9psi stage 2 does happen to be 240kw.
Prices are as follows -
Powerdyne stage 1: $5,351.00
Powerdyne stage 2: $5,997.00
Vortech stage 3: $7,995.00
Now would these prices include fitting? I would presume so but I dont know where you would get it done as I dont know any CAPA dealerships. It doesn't say on the website whether the prices are labour inclusive or not.

Switchable Shift Kit, K&N panel filter, Lukey straight thru mufflers, momo gear and steer,
DBA slotted rotors/Bendix ultimate pads (front), Pioneer MP3 head unit and BA XR carpet mats.
Prices are parts only. Any mechanic could fit them though, it comes with complete instructions so anyone could do it in about 2 days, with limited tools required.
The stage 3 generally requires the compression to be lowered at the minimum. Also strengthening of the bottom end and some decent pistons along with head porting etc would also help.
Ahh well I wouldn't mind fitting it. I've fitted air/con to petrol and deisel couriers when I worked in Pre-Delivery. Couldn't be that much harder, could it!?

well I wouldn't bother with anything less then the stage 3 kit, so you would be looking at about 10 grand fitted....for that I'd go to P.E.T in Melbourne. They can do a full turbo kit for the EA-AU falcon which includes the following:
decompression plate.
GT40 ball-bearing turbo.
custom before-turbo extractors.
3 inch exhaust.
custom Intercooler.
bigger injectors.
Autronic SMC.
all fitted for 10 grand.
power depends on boost.....but I wouldn't expect any less then 200rwkws...
Dave.

PET may do great turbos, but the question was about superchargers.
I would imagine that the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 probably also includes an intercooer.
Personally, I would go with stage two as this would be less stressful on the motor than a stage three (and doesn't require any mods). BTW, the kit Falkeen is fitting is good for 195rwkw - about 45rwkw less than what CAPA quote.
