Hi everyone, whist replacing my heater hose in my EA (cfi) i found a hose hanging there doing nothing.. it appears to be comming out of the charcole canister. there are 2 feul lines and this one that goes no where. when the engine is running there is suction there.

can anyone tell me what it is and if it should b connected to anythign?? the car is running perfect without it

The hose your talking about is just a breather hose and isn't connected to anything apart from the canister and usually is clipped to the side of the strut tower,
