I'm up for a new clutch this week before heathcote. At the moment I've got an XF but the gearbox, flywheel and clutch are from an XE, which i'm told is a larger clutch.

I've been quoted $260 for a daikin clutch (supplied only) to suit XE 6cyl and I'm wondering whether or not this is a decent price and also whether I should just get an XF clutch, but that would require a new flywheel I'm guessing to suit the different clutch.

I just rang the same place to find out the price difference between XF and XE clutch.

The XF clutch is only $180 but is 15mm smaller. Does anyone have any experience with how well the XF clutch holds up in comparison to the XE one? and whether it would be worth the extra $80 to get the XE clutch kit.

I also enquired about a later model clutch, namely the EB, and he said the only difference between them is the clutch plate, the pressure plate is supposedly the same. Can anyone confirm this? cause if its true I'll just get a later model clutch for it at a lesser cost.
