hi all

i was thinkin of puttin a cold air intake, wat i was goin to do is drill a hole at the bottem of the airbox and run a 2" plastic pipe to where the fog light sit on the bumpper, is this the best way to do it and is a 2" pipe big enough for this mod

someone on another ford forum done it with a 3" pipe on an EL XR6

the only problem is if you have the ABS in your car, as the unit is basically straight under the airbox... theres just enough space to run it through

What you described can be done, but it won't make a scrap of difference to even a mildly modified engine.
Just go and grab a snorkel from an EF XR8 from Ford, they are around $40 or so.

could just grab an AUIII XR8 snorkle... much nicer with the Tickford badge on it
