hey guys...first of all thanks for ya help on the few questions ive asked...its really helped me understand things..and im gonna be a pain in the ass....cuz im asking another..lol.

from what all ive read n stuff.... this i wat ive come across...

first of all i want to put an Ef/l intake manifold onto my ea....now from my readin...to do this i need to.. 1. Change the loom?
2. El ecu?
3. obviously change the air intake etc..


so by changing the ECU id need a new gearbox...cuz im still running the standard 3 spd...is this correct?? and and anything i missed plz dont hesitate to call me a twat and correct me..lol..

Im not sure on this but i think you will only need a rpm switch which will opperate on the BBM solinoid at 3800rpm and above. should be able to buy something like that from jaycar? a cheap shift light could be modified to do the job.

maybe there is more to changing the manifold than the dual length solinoid?

The Jaycar kits wont be in untill the end of this month.
