Less air turbulence in the crankcase
less friction on the crank rods and pistons.
engine will stop breathing in shitty oil

To get more vacuum you could use a pump but you could risk sucking air in through the rear seal

Hey Con, is this what Ford refer to as the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system?

But the factory system routes to the intake as opposed to exhaust, yeah?

its actually possible to get 20hp on some engines - there was an article about this in a recent street machine mag, but the problem is that blowing iol out your exhaust causes fuct emissions and makes the car unroadworthy :)

I heard about some guys who tried something like this on an old 308. Somehow they stuffed up and air was getting blown back into the crank case. It ended up screwing the engine up by blowing out oil out of every gasket, and somehow flooding the dizzy with oil as well.

It would be extremely easy to remove it to pass an emmissions test.
It would also be easy to run the pipe under and through stuff so that if a cop wanted to defect you it would be very hard to trace the pipe.

As for 20hp you dont know unless you give it a go! In the US of A everythings big just like the gains from this simple mod. But then we dont call them SEPPO's for nothing.

You dont want that shitty oil going into your engine. the bernoulli effect of the exhaust will suck more air than manifold vacuum ever will
