Crow Cam for EF

If i fit a crow cam to my EF, will i need to get new valvesprings???

Also, has anyone on here fitted a crow cam to their EF/EL ? and if so how much power did you gain and were you happy with the result???

unless it is a huge cam your standard valvesprings should be ok.
