Re: Crow stage 3 cam in EA

hmm
i might be able to get a EMS dualsport w/ loom fairly cheap (sub $500) from someone i know. if i can scrape the money up i will definately buy it and see how it goes.

how would i go about with an adjustable fuel regulator ? is that an aftermarket regulator or something computer controlled? hmm i gues it would just be like a valve :\

oh and congrats Rollin on the 14 second pass!

Re: Crow stage 3 cam in EA

the most u can get from an aftermarket ecu on any of the jim mock enjins or any huge off the shelf cam is 15 rw kw.... and proven. all u need to do is get any el ecu or tickford as it goes a bit beter in the longrun. and **** off the crow peice of shit as they dont idle and make less power than lesser spec cams like wade ones, and an ef head. the ef inlet does not make any more power but full torque at 2800 rpm or somethin like that as i cant remember right now, but it is also proven..just get a cam with a wide lobe seperation like 144-116 degrees and use the standard ecu .and an adjusteable fuel reg just goes on the return fuel line to clamp the amount of fuel returning to the tank wick inturn producess more fuel pressure.i have tried lots of things with these engines and i have proven a few workshops rong with wat they recon works and does not or will not.even jim mock motorsports wich is one of the leading 4 litre work shops.. i will be hapy to answer any emails and to help u with ur build and any info. so email me at rorycollett@bigpond.com cause i dont come on these sites often. i also do head porting on these heads and have helped one do a 13.8 with tyre spin in a manual ef with leather interior and all. so email me if u want advice.
