Hey guys,

The EF has developed a leak under the #5 exhaust side, just like the EA did, so its time to get the head done. I was wondering if anyone knew any good places to get some head work done in melbourne? Ive used Head Torque in rowville before to get the head on the EA machined (great price), but this time im after a bit of performance work. Jim Mock do a "Street-Fighter" changeover head for $850, but its just basic porting/polishing. For something with bigger exhaust valves etc they want $1500 changeover!

For anyone that doesnt know, I have JMM race series headers and a Wade 1004@112 on the car at the mo.

So, anyone know any good places in Melbourne i should give a call?

Are you sure their street fighter head doesn't even get 41mm ex valves for that price?

Seem a bit much then.

I am in Sydney so can't help for a local guy but I hear a lot about G&D in Cranbourne I think call them they are working an I6 project car now.

Go to Pro-Heads in West Heidleberg. I dont have the number on me but just ring telstra direct to find the number. They qouted me $1000 for a total recoed head, bigger ports, strong springs/valves , machined, crack tested, port n polish etc etc.
