i'm hoping to build a dohc falcon engine for my xf ute and i was wondering if a delco 808 ecu would run variable valves.

the reason i want to run this ecu is becouse of its capabilitys to run water injection,s/c and efi,as well as the the fact it can be easly tuned by kalmaker softwere

The best person to speak to is Alan Gibbs you runs the www.kalmaker.com.au site and is the sole distributor. Do you know how the cam timing is manipulated? I assume it would be either a stepper motor or PWM, I would be more inclined to think the 2nd.

You might be able to use one of the 2bar outputs to do this function but it would be a lot of work to set it up. Wastegate control IMO is just as good when controlled manually provided the turbo is sized right.
