Anyway, either would be fine, I have a DEV5 in my ute and it's a daily driver.
It's also used for towing our dual axle trailer interstate regularly, track days, and drag days.
Very dual purpose indeed. I think the DEV4 will just save you a little money and pperhaps idle a little better, however mine doesn't idle bad in any case.

I can achieve over 450k's in town and over 700k's on a long run. It will even get over 300k's towing over 2000kg.

The plugs and air filter seem to do a pretty decent job.....

If your budget allows, I'd buy the DEV5.
