Hi all,

I have heard alot of stuff on the forums regarding DEV5 kits, and how they seem to add a fair few rwkw's.

My questions are, what is it exactly? how much for it roughly?, and what does it do?

How much : It cost me around the $1000 mark to get the cam, springs, vernier gear, gasket etc all mailed out. The headwork that goes with it is extra.

All reports seem to indicate that under 3000rpm its pretty standard fare with your engine but from then on the cam kicks hard.

I'll be getting mine put in on the 31st but not with the headwork.

Since this thread is about DEV5, I'll ask my question here.

Do you think you would be able to tune a Falcon with a DEV5 Kit reliably to normal unleaded?? I don't care about the power loss, because compared to a stock car it is ...

JMM reckons it will run on Unleaded but its preferable for Premium.

I tend to run unleaded more than premium solely due to the cost.
