i have an 1993 eb 11 4ltr 4spd auto with 150.000km.is there any qwick and easy do it yourself mods to do to this car?i just raced my frend he has a 1990 holden vn.i was so F**ked off because he won.can any one help plz!because i know my car can do better

put a set of 3.7 gears in and a manual and youll put him in his place. fords rev in first gear (auto) to about 80-90 were a bombadore revs to just 50.

just 3.7 diff gears will do heaps.. u will EAT him.... and youre ford will still go faster in 1st gear than the vn

just getting a decent intake and a full exhaust system should help the falc breath heaps better

Check out a website called "Powerchip.com"
For my EL, I'll get 19kw extra power for $690.00 that I can fit myself, Thats a lot of bang for your bucks.
Then if your really serious do a search on a bloke called Jim Mock in Melbourne. Naturally aspirated 220kW or so.

Cheap Horses = K&N Filter panel or pod in the existing airbox, $140 or so, check the wreckers for an EF, EL XR6 cold air snorkel. (more air)

Exhaust will cost about $1k with $400 of that on a high flow Cat,
Playing with diffs you can do once the engines howling.

playing with the diff, is the cheapest way of getting the car moving... If i was to mod again, it would be my first... Changed the car totaly
I got more performance in crease from a ratio change than , any other mod including cam change.. While it still has the same power the gearing isnt so crappy

Do what my mate did - buy an $850 Cressida, stick in an $800 Aristo engine, and wonder why the guy in the BA XR8 looks so puzzled that he can't get away from you.
