just a question...what type of hp are some of the quicker guy's getting out of the dohc falcon engine?

i was thinking if the nissan boys can get 800 odd hp out of a 2.6ltr straight 6 theirs no stopping the ford boys with our 4ltr getting 1000+hp...



now winning hp hero's in a 6 would be cool!!!

Of course dude, but it's a very streetable engines, idles and spools up like a stocker....unlike Eddie's VH, which is useless below 6000rpm....

Really? I wouldve thought Tassones VH wouldve had a decent powerband seeing as its a big-capacity V8, just like the BA 4.0Turbo (big capacity). Do you have any dyno graphs of teh VH?

Have to disagree with you there mate, Eddie was at a dyno comp last weekend (Genie exhaust's DynoJet Dyno) and it maxed it out (1200hp at the wheels) and it made this power at around 5,500rpm.
