I tried this in the f*rdm*ds forum but the site seems to have evaporated, so I guess I'll try here... :-)

Car:
93 EBII 4.0 dual fuel.

Problem:
Doesn't like to idle at full operating temp while on petrol.

Idles fine on LPG all the time
Idles fine on petrol when cold.

I've recently replaced the distributor, and the problem seems to have started since then.

It may be psychosematic, but it *seems* to surge a little while cruising @ 60kph on petrol/warm.

Any suggestions?

Could be anything, but i think it might be any of the following
1. Petrol pump may have bitten the dust.
2. The petrol filter might have clogged up.
3. Petrol contains old and dirty petrol.
Could be other things, im not toally sure, but thats a start.

I had the opposite thing with my EF on dual fuel, LPG would idle badly and would conk out on warm days, but petrol would run fine no matter what. Would have the LPG tuned, and would be out of whack by the end of the week and stalling again.
